Tulsi Gabbard nomination in jeopardy

There is growing concern that at least one of Donald Trumpโs nominees may not have a viable path to confirmation. Multiple reports say the Tulsi Gabbard is causing concern on Capitol Hill and the White House. NBC says some sources are saying she has a 50-50 chance of getting through. Not good. Not good at ALL.
Many senators are said to be rattled that she would not answer as to her feelings about Edward Snowden. That concern has not been sated, indeed; itโs gotten brighter, and more explosive than a popping fireworks display and this is NOT a good sign.
After confirmation hearings, one usually — USUALLY — has a pretty good idea whether someoneโs going to get confirmed or not. USUALLY. This news about Tulsi is being leaked from somewhere, and so far, every bit of news Iโve heard has been reasonably grim for her. The reason it might be easier for some senators to oppose Tulsi., then some other nominees are because she had her lightning moment.
For Gabbard, when she stood there, being asked by Republicans AND Democrats alike, demanding to know how she felt about Snowden, and she stood there like a bump on a log, that was the moment the moment. I would not be surprised if every single Senator left that meeting deeply troubled by her not answering.
You canโt head up in the organization at that level if you canโt answer a simple question, if you stand there, mute, staring ahead of you, not knowing what to say or do. So these reports leaking out from NBC and others should be taken very seriously at this point.
