Trump just got burned
To giveth and to taketh away. So, a peace deal has been brokered between Iran and Israel. Unfortunately, it did not take that long for the agreement to be violated, reportedly by Israel. In the meantime, the anger toward Donald Trump for getting us INTO this situation is beginning to smolder. And Donald Trump just got burned.
Oleksandr Merezhko is the head of Ukraine’s parliamentary committee. And he has just withdrawn his nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. He had nominated Trump, which was his first mistake. Donald Trump winning a Nobel Prize is a laughable idea. Anyway, this official is furious at Turmp for this whole Iran and Israel mess and spoke to Newsweek on Tuesday saying he’d “lost faith” in Trump.
He had nominated Trump in November. But he also cited the fact that Donald Trump has not stopped the war between Ukraine and Russia as promised. If you remember, that promise was part of Trump’s platform (of lies) when he was running in the 2024 election. Just one more promise that he did not care to keep.
Now, Trump hungrily covets recognition in the form of a Nobel Prize. He’s always talking about it, always offering rude declarations that nobody deserves it more than he does. A fly would be a better nominee. However, if one were to nominate Trump as the most violent politician ever, I could get behind that idea.
