Trump does damage control as everything falls apart for him
Reports say that the Trump administration is scrambling to do damage control, after the utterly disastrous Trump cabinet meeting that took place last week between the cabinet members and President Musk. It indeed was a garden of evil, incompetence, and fury that day as tempers flared and voices were raised. Anger seethed in many Republican bodies, although one thing that was NOT present in said bodies was any iota of competence.
Morning Jo co-host Johnathan Lemire said, “Musk’s star has continued to fall.” Well, you know what happens when these types of falls begin, don’t you? A guard rail is usually not around to grasp onto for safety. Lemire says Trump is desperately trying to downplay all the crap that took place. He reports that Trump is also very angry at all the negative headlines coming out of that failed meeting.
Is that so? Well, then — allow me to add to the negative headlines: “Trump does damage control as everything falls apart for him.” Kinda has a nice ring to it, yes? Lemire says cabinet members have been angry for weeks, so this meeting was a pressure cooker waiting to happen.
Trump and his administration are also quite annoyed because judges keep ruling against them, so getting all these negative court rulings definitely does not endear them to Mr. Musk. Musk came off as angry and defensive in the meeting, turning people off, as his seeming inability to take ANY form of criticism was very much evident.
In short – it’s a shitshow for Mr. trump. This should not surprise us. I leave you all with one question: can you think of even ONE thing at ALL that’s gone right for the Musk administration? Just one? Neither can I.
