Trump and JD Vance humiliate themselves in bizarre Oval Office shouting match with Ukraine President Zelensky
Perhaps, my friends, you saw the utterly embarrassing spectacle at the White House today. President Zelenskyy was there, and as he and Donald Trump (and Just Dumb Vance) answered questions it devolved into – into — into…. The most pathetic, embarrassing, absurd, mad, conference ever!
It started well enough. But all through the meeting, even at the beginning, it was apparent, to this writer at least, that Trump was a livewire in a minefield that could go off at any time. One knew SOMETHING might happen. However, what could and did happen left many including me, blinking in disbelief.
The whole thing turned into a shouting match. It was surreal, like watching a stranger (Trump) from another galaxy utterly humiliate himself, as virtually everyone said. There were warnings that high tide might be rolling in and that this Trump tide would wind up as an insane wave splashing against everything good and decent.
Trump continuously brought up Joe Biden, and what a bad job he did (Biden did great). Zelenskyy behaved fine—actually, he was wonderful—but all to no avail. Then Vance got into the mix. First off. I know what Vance did. It is a widespread technique used by MANY narcissists. It is called “splitting.”
The idiot DOING the splitting attempts to triangulate. If you have not seen what went down, I can tell you that JD Vance used the splitting technique, suggesting Zelenskyy was not THANKFUL enough and demanding to know whether he had said thanks once since coming to the White House.
That was all it took. The dehumanizing and utterly craven route Vance took was pathetic, but it did do one thing. It enabled Trump to once again lose his senile shit and faster than one could say, psychopath., Trump’s voice became louder, and he began to scold Zelenskyy, insisting he was trying to start world war three.
It was a shitshow. It was an embarrassment. Berated. That is the only word that describes what Vance and Trump did to Zelenskyy—the ONLY word. Shortly after the shit show ended, it was replied that Zelenskyy had been asked to leave the White House.
Here are my feelings about ALL of this:
1) Vance is no doubt hungry for recognition. After all, Muskie’s been getting all the attention. What does Vance do when he’s restless? He starts shit. That’s just who Vance is, the lowest social outcast trying with desperation to get the jock to look at him, to see him, to smile upon him, so he deliberately engages in behavior purposely designed to set Trump off.
2) Impeachment worthy. This is one of Turmp’s lowest moments in office. It will be shown in history books. Trump will be laughed at for eternity. He was and is, an utter disgrace.
3) Zelenskyy — a cool and refreshing snowfall on a Republican-red afternoon. I was damn PROUD of how he comported himself.
4) This off-the-rails meeting perfectly shows the Trump administration. They are, my friends; they are INCOMPETENT.
