Every day is a new day for Kevin McCarthy to get dumped on. The cowardly wanna-be House Speaker cannot seem to get ahead of the news cycle — likely because he IS the news cycle. It must be making him very nervous indeed. In the latest Kev revelations, it is being reported that Donald Trump has said Kevin is “incapable of disrespecting him.”

Trump reportedly said this to Johnathan Martin and Alex Burns, author of the upcoming book that’s been causing a lot of trouble for little Kevin. Trump said that McCarthy would not disrespect him either in private or in public. And the orange insurrectionist had an interesting reason why he wouldn’t. McCarthy explained Trump has “an inferiority complex.” Ouch!

This might be one for the books. Because it is the first time I’ve ever agreed with Trump — about anything. McCarthy has been withering on the vine and will only continue to wither. In reality, Kevin likely DOES has an inferiority complex. That would explain why he cannot seem to open his mouth and say anything to anyone.

That’s also why he’d make an abysmal leader. At the time of this writing, there has been no response from McCarthy. Does this surprise anyone? Kevin’s jaws are clamped tight regarding the hornet’s nest. He doesn’t dare open it, or his shrinking dream of Speakership will surely fall away from him.

If Kevin were a different type of man — one with a soul — I might be inspired to feel a little bit of pity for him about now. But he’s not. McCarthy is an enemy of the state. He’s a yes-man, the ultimate in craven meekness. Even as I write these words of condemnation, he’s likely deep in cowardly thought, thinking perhaps: how do I make this disappear? What magic trick can I perform?

Only there is none. Karma is busily at work, and she suffers no fools. If Kevin were to appeal to Karma, he’d likely get a bitterly quiet smile and then — silence. He must now wait and watch as his most personal secrets — his private words — are splashed all over for all to see. It’s karmic justice at its finest.
