This is a game changer
Disapprove. Disapprove. Minus 32. Minus 17. Minus 15. Minus 16. These shiny new numbers represent the American people’s feelings on one Felon J. Trump, as seen in a brand new poll from Verasight. This new poll contains not even a smidgeon of good news for him. Let’s crunch the numbers, shall we?
In this poll, Trump has a 40% overall approval. If it were ONE digit lower, he’d be in the thirties. Ah, well, there’s always time. -32. That is the beautiful number for Trump’s approval ratings on tariffs, prices, and inflation.
But wait! There’s more, more, so much more. -17 point net rating. That is on the economy. -15 on education. Well, YES, banning books and firing teachers left and right isn’t exactly the way to win peoples’ love, now is it?
-16 on foreign policy. This number may come from the promises broken. Trump — I will stop Putin’s war! Putin’s war — still going. Trump — I will stop the Gaza war. The war is still going on. Trump even scores low on immigration, which goes to prove Palmer Report’s point that most people are not happy to see their fellow citizens scooped up like rag dolls and disappeared off the streets.
My thoughts on all this are that it was inevitable. Let me use an analogy—you are promised a big, beautiful, magnificent Greek Villa right on top of the Mykonos Greek sea, a villa as bright and dazzling as the biggest, most vivid blue Heron.
Instead, you get a dilapidated, crumbling, roof-sagging, wall-cracked, paint-peeling shack in the middle of nowhere that looks like it might fall apart at any moment. This is precisely what Trump’s presidency has been. Trump promised to lower grocery prices. They’ve gone up.
Trump promised lower prices on retail goods—they’ve gone up and are about to go up even more (Walmart just announced that they will be raising prices). Trump promised to bring down the cost of living, but it has SKYROCKETED.
Trump promised to end wars — they go on — and on — and on! Trump promised he wouldn’t TOUCH Medicaid — well, you know how much THAT promise was worth. Over and over again, the American people see daily evidence of the CRAP, the utter TRASH HEAP of a presidency where a convicted felon slithered into the position on the back of lies, cons, and dirty tricks. This poll is one of his worst yet. It is a game changer because it shows TRUMP IS DOWN ON VIRTUALLY EVERY issue.
There is not ONE issue where the American people give him high or even average marks. That is something to hang one’s head in shame about.
