Like father, like son? Never has that statement seemed to fit better than this story. As you might be aware, Andrew Giuliani is running to be New York’s next Governor. It is a race he won’t win.

Andrew’s papa is, of course, none other than wretched Rudy himself. And it appears that with Andrew, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Andrew Giuliani is having a temper tantrum. This tantrum is against getting the Covid jab. Well OK. That is his decision, as silly as it might be.

But Andrew’s diatribes are not against vaccines – they’re against local television stations that he claims won’t give him any air time because he won’t get the jab. CBS, in fact, barred the son of Rudy from taking their debate stage because he wasn’t vaccinated.

Those are the rules, and most normal adults know and understand such rules. But not Andrew. In the spirit of his self-centered father, he is raising quite a stink. Angry Andrew is saying he should be allowed to debate anyway. This is one way of getting negative attention; I’ll give him that.

This isn’t the way to get New Yorkers to vote for you, Andrew. Most New York locals are sophisticated people who want to hear politicians tell them how they will improve their lives. They really don’t care about your vaccine phobia.

What most of them do not want to hear is a spoiled man-baby wailing about vaccines. That ship has sailed. Most New York residents are vaccinated. And most of them don’t give a shit about the unrelenting self-absorption of the Giuliani men.
