These people are morons
“Tariffs do not, do not, do not create inflation!” These ardent and Shakespearean words came from Donald Trump’s administration Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who lost his mind over at CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” Yes, it would seem the pressure of tariffs is getting to them. By “them,” I mean all the “President’s” men, especially Howard Lutnick, who then proceeded to insult the voting public, calling them whiners and complainers.
You know, friends and readers, sometimes these articles do just write themselves. Lutnick INSISTED that tariffs do not cause inflation. As he so eloquently puts it: “Printing money causes inflation.”
Ah, Lutnick. If Orwell’s Big Brothers were around, they certainly would be patting you on the back right about now. “You have a balanced budget,” the great orator went on, “there can’t be inflation.”
Education and knowledge left THIS man’s soul a long, long time ago. Then came the big moment when he began to blame the American people for this news story.
“This concept (tariffs) is just people whining and complaining.” “And not being truthful.” Wow. He’s going all in on the denial, isn’t he? “The fact is,” he ended his agonizingly ignorant little performative speech. We need to protect America.”
We sure do! Finally, that is something we can agree on, good Sir. But here’s where we differ. I think we need to protect America from YOU. After all — your little speech was akin to nails on a chalkboard and we need LESS of that, not more.
We also need you to please — PLEASE — pick up a history book. I know there’s one around you somewhere. Oh wait — Republicans have banned books. In closing — nothing says :winning” like insulting the voters, right? As you can see – Trump isn’t exactly bringing his best nor his brightest.
