The problem with having political hearings is that to do this successfully, one needs SOMETHING to focus the hearings on. And the GOP has nothing literally. That just might be why the hearings the GOP is having are turning into — one big flop.

The GOP led off their hearings with a big nothing burger — why were republican tweets being suppressed? The answer to that question is — they weren’t.

Still, this did not stop angry and red-faced republicans from having hearings about this nothing burger. The only problem was — nobody cared. Since then, the same thing has been happening. The GOP has found itself in a unique position — they are having hearings with no audience.

And reportedly, even some republican pundits are boggled as to why the GOP hearings are landing not with a thud but with a whimper. “I haven’t seen a single guy sweating under the bright lights.” This is from Fox pundit Jesse Watters who appeared irritated and pissy at his own political party.

“Are we going to see anybody squirm?’ he wondered. Jesse, the answer to that question is no, you’re not.

The problem for ALL these goobers is that contrary to the media narrative, Democrats are tough as nails, and they won’t sweat because they haven’t done anything wrong. It’s as simple as that.

This answer does not seem to resonate with republicans, particularly Gym Jordan, whose face seems to stay a permanent shade of red as he screams, yells, and grouches in an echo chamber where nobody can hear him except his own ilk.

The GOP at the moment resembles terrified little turtles afraid to show their faces. Most of these hearings have not been televised, and most people don’t know they’re even happening.

That is because, to put it bluntly, the GOP sucks at this kind of stuff, and they’re getting worse at it. This would be sort of like trying a case in the court without a crime. Picture a courtroom with a jury but no crime. That’s the GOP in a nutshell.

Also getting restless is Maga, who is wondering why — again — their party has let them down. This seems to be a regular thing with the GOP – letting down their voters, each other, and the American people. There’s a name for that, and it’s called failure.
