As bad as Trump and the rest of the Retrumplicans are, Herschel Walker is trying his best to make them all look good or at least slightly less crazy. It is bad enough to hear the man attempting to speak and making absolutely no sense, when you can even understand him that is. He is woefully out of his league in the political arena, and he is such a prolific liar. Chris Cillizza of CNN breaks down Walker’s lies.

It is obvious why Walker and Trump get along. They are two peas in the lying pod, especially when they use lies to try to make themselves look good. Walker has repeatedly claimed to have “worked in law enforcement.” The closest Walker has come to such a thing is when he played “cops and robbers” as a child because he certainly has never worked in law enforcement. Just a few days ago, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that any law enforcement experience is all in Walker’s head.

Walker claims to have worked with the Cobb County Police Department, which has been repeatedly debunked by that agency. Walker then claimed to be an “honorary deputy” with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, which agency has no record of Walker’s involvement. Former DeKalb County J. Tom Morgan spoke to AJC about the issue, revealing that even if true, Walker’s “honorary deputy” status would give him no authority. “It’s like a junior ranger band,” Morgan told AJC. Walker next claimed to be an FBI agent, which we know is untrue because he never graduated from UGA. He left in his junior year to join the NFL, and there is no record that he ever completed his degree. Listening to him speak, it is doubtful that he was able to handle college-level classes at all. Perhaps Walker is merely enthralled by law enforcement because of his own dealings on the other side of law enforcement, but his brushes with criminality are not the only thing he’s hiding.

Herschel Walker is an absentee father. He speaks frequently about his son Christian, but he never mentions his other child. In fact, Daily Beast recently reported that Walker has two additional children about whom we have never heard. Yet, he has the nerve to criticize absentee fathers, especially Black fathers. He has nothing to do with the Black community, as if he’s too good for the rest of us, but he has no qualms about criticizing Black men. He needs to stuff it. He also claims to have a cure for Covid. This is a man who is trying to take a seat in the senate. No, thank you. Now, take all that you know about Walker and juxtapose it against Senator Raphael Warnock.

Warnock comes across as sincere, affable, and has no problem making fun on himself. In other words, he is a real person who has real hopes and dreams for his home state. The choice is clear. Georgia can either send a buffoon to the Senate who doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground, or we can choose someone who cares about the quality of our lives.
