The worst of the bunch

If you don’t or can’t yet see the danger of the Trump administration, you are not paying attention. Trump continues to violate the Constitution, and all his lap dogs continue to attempt to create turmoil where there is none. Kash Patel is way too dumb to do anything of consequence, but that doesn’t stop him from trying. According to Salon, Patel and his fellow conspiracy theorist Don Bongino are trying to get Trump’s base riled up over lies. Patel and Bongino have promised an “investigation” into their favorite conspiracy theories—an alleged baggie of cocaine found at the White House in 2023, and pipe bombs planted at DNC and RNC headquarters on January 6. This is Patel’s attempt to prove his conspiracy theory that the FBI was complicit in framing the January 6 rioters. As Salon wrote, they will find no evidence because there is none.
At the same time, Pam Bondi’s DOJ has turned into a right-wing terrorist group that is attempting to punish Trump’s enemies and policing things that either don’t exist or matter to no decent law enforcement agency in the country. The worst of Trump’s attack dogs; however, is quickly becoming Tulsi Gabbard. Salon reported that last week, Gabbard declassified a memo from federal law enforcement, detailing COVID-19 disinformation that stoked domestic terrorism in the United States. The release of this classified information has no use to the American public other than to support Gabbard’s outright lie that President Joe Biden labeled citizens as “terrorists” for opposing COVID-19 mitigation measures. This never happened under Biden’s presidency, but for Gabbard, it’s a way to continue stoking the fire under Trump’s base, encouraging them to, in fact, become involved in the same domestic terrorism she claims Biden made up. Though most of Trump’s cabinet members are vile, evil liars, Gabbard wins the crown as the most dangerous.
The declassified memo does nothing but discuss what was happening across the country, as far-right goons fought against COVID-19 mitigation policies to the point that they threatened healthcare workers and state and local governments. Regardless of how Gabbard tries to paint this, it is true. What is not true is that the FBI never called nor thought these people “terrorists.” By declassifying this memo that MAGA people will never read, Gabbard is using it to spread a lie that will, indeed, get these morons riled up, and for what purpose?
It is patently obvious that Trump and his cabinet members are trying to destroy the country as we know it. Between their incompetence and the lies, they are succeeding. It is up to the rest of us to resist, to speak loudly and vocally against the lies and the rhetoric. Even if the MAGA contingent refuses to listen (and history tells us they will), we must continue. Trump and his evil minions will not be in office forever, even though it sometimes feels that way, and we must preserve our way of life until they’re gone. The Trump administration is the antithesis of what an administration is supposed to be, and we will not fall prey to their un-American activities.
