With so much news breaking lately, some stories just do not get the coverage they so deserve. Here is one such story. And it involves the theme of irony. As you know, crazed MAGA parents showing up at school board meetings and making threats of violence to mask wearers and school board members has sort of become a thing.

As Palmer Report has laid out, AG Garland has been very concerned and has gotten Federal Law Enforcement involved — very involved. The reason Garland has taken these actions is because that is what sane and rational Attorney Generals do when innocent human beings are threatened.

Only some in the insurrection party do not like that Garland has dared to try to wipe out domestic terrorists. And they decided to do something about it — in the form of a sternly worded letter.

And in the said letter, the GOP voice their concerns and fears — about the ones DOING the terrorizing. In their letter to Garland, the patriotic (sarcasm) party woefully worries that Garland’s getting involved will make the angry parents “nervous” about speaking at any more school board meetings. And they say they say if that happens: “Democracy is failing.”

I will give the insurrection party credit for one thing. Just when one thinks they have hit bottom, they manage somehow to go even lower. As for the ones making threats not speaking at future meetings — I am all in on that idea.

I doubt very much AG Garland will do anything with this letter but throw it in the trash bin. I believe this because that is what sane and rational beings do when receiving letters from insane and irrational people.
