If the January 6 hearings have shown us anything, it is that Donald J. Trump is as dark and damaged a creature as we all thought. As we listen to the hearings, it seems more and more are revealed about Trump’s actions up to and on January 6. And these actions become worse and worse.

But there is a common denominator in all of this. Trump’s actions are consistent with those of a malignant narcissist and Sociopath. Again — I am no Psychologist. And this is merely my opinion. But his actions follow the patterns of what a person with these disorders might do. Divide and conquer appeared to be his goal with the Justice Department.

Trump and his posse of crazies cooked up every crackpot, insane, bizarre theory about the election. Every action imaginable was done, from threatening to fire people who refused to break the law to talk of seizing voting machines. Anything that would help the failed traitor retain power. And finally — violence.

Trump’s actions were callous, detached, and abnormal. They showed reckless disregard for the rule of law, for humanity for much of anything — except himself. And these are the actions that define Sociopathy. In the center of the Sociopath’s world, there is always themselves. If they could kiss themselves, they would.

That is because they are sick. They are depraved. They lack morality. They have no conscience. It is an illness without a cure. A state of being with no escape. It is a portrait, if you will – a portrait of a sociopath. It is Donald Trump.
