The more things change…
– So far Trump’s lame duck period has consisted of lying low, being lazy, whining on Twitter, firing people out of frustration, going golfing, pilfering money, and making empty threats he knows he can’t sustain. In other words, pretty much the same as before he lost the election.
– Everyone is panicking that no one is in charge right now. Well, no one has been in charge for the past four years.
– Trump is pretending he’s contesting the election so he can keep fundraising. McConnell is playing along to scare you out of focusing on the Georgia runoffs. Barr and Pompeo are both just begging Trump for pardons on his way out the door. This is all pretty easily understood, once you step back from the fear and hype and think logically about what’s really going on.
