The Donald Trump vs Elon Musk feud just got even uglier tonight
Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who were friends as recently as yesterday, have spent today publicly trying to destroy each other. And I’m not using the word “destroy” lightly. Musk accused Trump of suppressing the Jeffrey Epstein files because Trump was in them. Trump threatened to terminate Musk’s government contracts. Musk called for Trump to be impeached. Trump’s allies called for Musk to be deported. Now, tonight, it’s somehow gotten even uglier.
The Trump regime is now leaking to Rolling Stone that it plans to use the federal government to begin investigating Elon Musk’s companies. This may sound like an over the top empty threat merely aimed at getting Musk to shut up, and it may indeed be one. But thus far we’ve seen Trump’s babysitters do all kinds of utterly insane things to try to keep a senile Trump happy, including arresting low level judges. It wouldn’t be a stretch at all for the Trump regime to instruct the DOJ or other agencies to target Musk.
Of course if the Trump regime does follow through with this kind of thing, it’ll be done in the most incompetent and ham fisted way possible – and will probably only end up backfiring on them. Meanwhile Elon Musk is now threatening tonight to start his own political party. We’re at that point of this absurd melodrama. At least these two idiots are keeping each other distracted from the evil agendas that they’ve been trying to carry out.
