Susan Collins is concerned

There are a lot of things I love about the state of Maine. Itโ€™s stunning rocky coast. Itโ€™s earthy natural beauty. Yes, there are many things I adore about the state of Maine. Susan Collins is not one of them.

Yes a little voice has been heard raising deep concern and itโ€™s coming from the Maine Senator. Iโ€™m concerned about Tulsi Gabbard a concerned Collins said concernedly. Oh no, the Senator whined, Iโ€™m concerned about the firing of the Inspectors General, Collins announced, concern lurking in her voice like a tarantula.

When the midterms roll around, Susan Collins is one of the senators we will look to replace. Iโ€™m sick of her concern, my friends, arenโ€™t you? During Donald Trumpโ€™s first term, Susan Collins was deeply concerned about everything and anything.

Whatever the issue was, whatever the political fight was about, one could rest assured that the concerned Collins would stand before many a media pundit, concernedly wringing her worried hands, and voicing her unending and agonizingly futile concern.

Who could forget a certain extreme court Justice who showed he likes beer parties far more then he does respecting a woman’s right to choose? Collins dutifully voiced her concern, speaking the word “concern” so often and so frequently that if a Greek God had been around he or she surely would have turned her into a parrot.

We have to find a candidate in the great state of Maine, one who is not” from away,” a quality candidate, Someone, righteous and courageous with a no holds-bar approach who can take that concerned Senator on and put her in her rightful place — out of office.

This is the fight of our lives. Donald Trump and his unelected henchmen are actively trying to destroy our government, our democracy, and our way of life. We only have one choice, and that's to fight back as loudly and aggressively as possible.
To that end, Palmer Report is expanding. We're bulking up our editorial and research staff and leaving no stone unturned on the editorial front and activism front.
