Joe Biden is expected to rack up sizable wins in the large states of Florida, Arizona, and Illinois today, all but slamming the door mathematically when it comes to the 2020 Democratic primary race. Even as we wait for tonight’s results, we just got the surest sign yet that Biden is the nominee.

As of today Joe Biden is receiving Secret Service protection, according to NBC News. His campaign requested it after some protesters tried to rush the stage during his Super Tuesday victory speech. But protection isn’t automatically granted, and has to go through a process involving both Congress and the Department of Homeland Security. The fact that protection is being granted is yet another sign that Biden is going to be the nominee.
