Sure signs that Donald Trump’s influence is quickly fading

Three signs today that Donald Trump’s influence is quickly fading: 1) His favorite pandemic advisor Scott Atlas resigned today. 2) Trump’s FCC Chairman also announced his resignation today. 3) Republican Governor Doug Ducey sent Trump’s call to voicemail today during a televised certification hearing.

There are still far too many Republican office holders who are giving Trump lip service and stating their support for his fantasy that he somehow didn’t actually lose the election. But the reality is that the rats are fleeing the sinking ship. Imagine a Governor refusing to take a phone call from the President of the United States, from his own party no less, because the President has become that irrelevant.

– When the ship is just about finished sinking and the rats have all fled, there’s always that one idiot who runs on board and yells, “I’ve got a ship!” That idiot is Nikki Haley.
