Thanks largely to the work that Stacey Abrams has done over the past two years to clean up politics in Georgia and drive voter registration and turnout, Joe Biden has apparently won the state of Georgia – a rare feat for a Democrat. But the battle in Georgia is just getting started.

If the Democrats win both Senate runoff races in Georgia, they’ll take control of the Senate. It’ll mean the difference between President Joe Biden being able to carry out his full agenda, vs Biden having to fight with Mitch McConnell on everything.
