Something is wrong with Donald Trump

Donald Trump is incredibly predictable. If he doesn’t like a narrative, he lies about it. Worse yet, he makes up his own narrative, as he has done in response to the Black Hawk collision with the American Airlines jet. The people who know about such things are still investigating. They have both plane’s black boxes, and they recently recovered the black box from the Black Hawk. They hope to know more soon. Trump can’t wait for that, especially if it gives him the opportunity to spin a tale, and what a tale he has spun this time, placing the blame on DEI.

Not everyone believes in diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a principle, it was (and still is) a good way to ensure that everyone in society is represented. It does not, and never did, mean you hire just anybody to a position because of skin color, gender, or sexual orientation. They must be qualified for the positions they seek, and it is quite doubtful that corporations hire just anyone to fill a quota. It makes no sense. For Donald Trump to claim otherwise merely reinforces that he is not qualified for his own job. In fact, Roland Martin said on his latest show: “Both Vance and Trump say if you’re not qualified and competent, you shouldn’t have the job. They’re both unqualified and incompetent.”

If you’ve never heard of or listened to Roland Martin, you should. Martin has myriad experience in journalism, having hosted News One Now, was a CNN contributor, and made appearances on various shows. He now has a YouTube show, which broadcasts from D.C. Martin typically puts together a panel to discuss these issues, and clichรฉ aside, they take no prisoners. While discussing this DEI nonsense, Martin showed a clip of Trump, calling President Obama’s standard “mediocre,” and he equates DEI to people with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and psychiatric disabilities. So, now, Donald Trump is a doctor and psychiatrist. He has his own intellectual and psychotic disabilities. To date, he has done nothing but create chaos. What a surprise.

As for Trump’s opinion that DEI caused the crash, all the pilots were white. The last name released was Captain Rebecca Lobach, who was 28 years old. Rumor and innuendo were generated on social media when Lobach’s name wasn’t immediately released, but the family asked that her name remain anonymous until late last week. They couldn’t even properly grieve their daughter for the misinformation coming from the White House. If Trump wants to lay blame, he should look at the airport supervisor, who allowed one of the air traffic controllers to leave early, leaving the other one to try to do both jobs of monitoring the helicopter and the plane. As of now, the identity of the supervisor has not been released.

The reason for this tragedy is not yet known but leave it to Donald Trump to try to make something else out of it other than what it was-a tragedy resulting in a massive loss of life. Donald Trump is no position to throw stones. He needs to get to the job for which he was hired, lest we think he is incompetent.
