So much for that debate
Some well-meaning pundits out there have suggested that Joe Biden shouldn’t even give a corrupt liar like Donald Trump the privilege of getting to debate him. Unfortunately, Trump and his allies have seized on this, and have begun promoting the false narrative that Biden somehow won’t show up to debate Trump.
Fortunately, former Republican Congressman and current Trump critic Joe Walsh is spelling out the facts:
1. Of course Biden will debate.
2. Trump sucks at debates.
3. Biden will mop the floor with him.
4. And btw, Biden has already committed to 3 debates. Trump hasn’t committed to any.
5. And btw, Trump is the only candidate I know of who actually skipped out on a debate.

So that puts an end to the hypothetical debate about whether Joe Biden is willing to debate Donald Trump. Of course he is. Trump is the one who will have to at least consider skipping the debates, considering his collapsing cognitive abilities. But Trump is the kind of narcissist who will ultimately show up and try to win the “ratings” game even if his advisers tell him not to take the risk of participating in any debates.
