As the Republicans try their hardest to remake the country in the form of Big Brother, the Extreme Court of Big Brother appears to be helping the Republicans as much as they can.

Gorsuch. Barrett. Thomas. Alito. Kavanaugh. Chief Justice John Roberts. Roberts was a big question mark for me for a while. There is no doubt that he is concerned about the image of the Court. And he’s often attempted to “split the baby” and has at times sided with us.

But we cannot forget how he gutted Voting Rights. We can’t fail to see his utter uselessness in controlling a court gone mad with the thirsty lust for power. Roberts has become no more than a tired supplicant. He seems to have given up on his dream that the Court stay a respectable institution.

Perhaps he can’t help it. Perhaps the leadership skills simply aren’t there. Or perhaps he is just resigned to it. But never make the mistake of thinking he is our friend. The state of Indiana had petitioned the Court to expedite a case for them. Indiana wants the Court to expedite the abortion opinion to a federal appeals court.

The reason Indiana wants the Court to do this is so they can impose stricter bans on abortion. Indiana specifically wants parental notifications put into place. Now keep this in mind — just because they ASKED does not mean the Court had to DELIVER.

And yet they did. The Court of Big Brother all but cheerfully said, “Sure, why not?” And it was Roberts who did the expediting. Not Barrett. Not Thomas. Roberts. This law in Indiana requires that all parents be notified if a minor seeks to have an abortion.

Lower courts had ruled against this Indian law. Apparently, the extreme Court of big brother had other ideas. This serves as a stark reminder. Roberts is not our friend. When it comes down to it, he is an extremist to his teeth, and it’s my opinion the Court doesn’t have FIVE extremist Judges — it has six. And the sixth is the Chief Justice himself, who cannot or will not attempt to right any of the wrongs the Court of big brother has done to us.
