Donald Trump has been in a long, strange cognitive downward spiral ever since he was mysteriously taken to the hospital a few months back. Ever since then, each of his public appearances has come off as incrementally more senile than the last. Today Trump held a de facto campaign rally at a factory in Allentown, and he had a completely senile moment in front of the TV cameras.

Trump has spent the past week suggesting that he doesn’t like the idea of testing people for coronavirus, because then it means there’s another confirmed case. There’s not a mentally competent person alive who believes that if you don’t test someone for a virus, it means they don’t have it. Mere ignorance or idiocy wouldn’t be enough to explain that kind of viewpoint. This is completely senile belief on Donald Trump’s part. He keeps slipping further by the day.
