Back when Donald Trump was campaigning and had to appear in public multiple times a day, his cognitive collapse was on full display. One particularly jarring aspect of his worsening dementia was how he kept getting the people in his life confused for each other, while combining other people together, and appearing to forget the existence of some people entirely. There were also times in 2024 when Trump appeared to think that Barack Obama was the current President.

Now that Trump is in office and his babysitters can hide him from public view the majority of the time, his dementia moments aren’t seen by the public as often. But Trump is still as confused as ever. Today he thought there was President named Obiden:

This is far from the worst of Trump’s dementia moments. But it’s a reminder that while his people have been able to hide him a lot more over the past six weeks, they still have to put him out there sometime – and he can’t handle it. Just wait til he tries to address Congress tomorrow. At this point Trump may think Carrot Top is the Speaker of the House.
