Yesterday, Palmer Report pointed out that it’s finally Roger Stone’s time in the barrel. The flurry of major media attention to the criminal case against him, despite a lack of new details in the case, gives away that reporters have been tipped off that something is about to go down. Also convinced that something is about to happen: Roger Stone.

It’s not that Roger Stone ever acts in particularly normal or judicious fashion on social media. But just in the past day or two, Stone has taken things to a whole new level of, well, Stone-iness. He’s zeroed in on media reports that his decades-long political consulting partner Paul Manafort has sold him out to Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Stone has also gone particularly far off the deep end when it comes to the media outlets reporting on his impending demise.

For instance, Roger Stone has decided on his Instagram page that MSNBC host Chris Matthews deserves to have the words “Fake news” branded on his forehead. Stone has also declared that CNN host Wolf Blitzer is “full of shit.” And most tellingly, Stone is referring to Vanity Fair reporter Abigail Tracy as a “crazy b*tch.”

Roger Stone has a long running habit of hurling sexist remarks and gender slurs at female political pundits, to the point that it’s already gotten him kicked off Twitter. But now Stone is at it again, going into overdrive, and it’s clear that he’s worried about what’s about to happen to him. At this point the only remaining question may be whether Stone is indicted and arrested shortly before, or shortly after, the midterm elections.
