Rachel Maddow just nailed it
The political landscape is now ablaze with the disturbing and rapidly worsening Matt Gaetz scandal. But his alleged crimes are merely part of a larger ongoing scandalous landscape that’s been centered around Donald Trump for the past several years.
During her MSNBC show tonight, Rachel Maddow connected the dots from Donald Trump to Paul Manafort to Maria Butina, and laid out how Trump’s never-ending scandals are still at the center of the Republican Party. In fact Putin’s television network RT sent Butina in to do a story this week on imprisoned political activist Alexei Navalny.
Meanwhile the GOP still has no idea what to do with itself, beyond sitting back and letting Donald Trump try to run for President again in 2024. Rachel Maddow pointed out that Trump might have to run from a prison cell, an acknowledgement that the various criminal cases against Trump are closing in on him.
