Donald Trump’s latest press conference is already off to a disastrous start
Donald Trump is holding yet another “coronavirus crisis press conference” today, and it’s already quickly dissolving into yet another bad punchline. Within the first minute or two, Trump sounded like he was short of breath, raising even more questions about what’s going on with his health. But then things got really stupid.
Trump quickly handed things off to Small Business Administration Administrator Jovita Carranza, who began her remarks by thanking Ivanka Trump for no apparent reason. That’s right, today’s rally is already turning into nothing more than a Trump ego stroking session.
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin then took the stage and admitted that it’ll take two weeks before the $1200 relief payments go out to people with direct deposit set up, in the latest sign that the inept Trump regime simply can’t function. And because these Trump people are all liars, this means it’ll probably a lot longer than two weeks. Mnuchin also then randomly attacked President Obama, because that’s all these Trump thugs can ever seem to do.
Yesterday MSNBC and CNN both pulled the plug on Donald Trump’s press briefing after about five minutes. We’ll see how long they stay on with this nonsense today. But these briefings shouldn’t be on the air at all. They’re thinly disguised campaign rallies, and they’re chock full of harmful false information.
