Donald Trump’s poll numbers and approval ratings keep dropping, the pandemic keeps making things even uglier for him, and his Russian bounty scandal gets more treasonous by the hour. So what is Trump doing to try to save his dying presidency and turn things around for himself?

In short, nothing. Instead of trying some kind of strategy, any strategy, Trump now merely seems intent on showing us how far gone he is. His tweets keep getting shorter, stranger, and loonier. Earlier today he blurted out “THE LONE WARRIOR” without any context or explanation. Now he’s tweeting this:

Yep, Donald Trump really is that far gone. He was already a sad pathetic loser. Now he’s become a sad pathetic parody of his sad pathetic self. Let’s work hard and finish this guy off in the election.
