No wonder Donald Trump is freaking out
After two days of hiding, Donald Trump abruptly held a press conference this evening that will be remembered as one of the most self defeating disasters in political history. MSNBC and NBC News both cut him off entirely, citing the fact that he was lying. Most news outlets, including the normally Trump-friendly Fox News and New York Post, are criticizing him for it. Trump has certainly weakened his own position.
So why did Trump do something so recklessly stupid, after having spent two days restraining himself? Because it’s now basically over for him, and he knows it. He’s within 3,500 votes of losing Georgia. He’s on a mathematical pace to likely lose Pennsylvania by six figures. Both states could be called for Biden before the night is over.
No wonder Donald Trump is freaking out. He’s now hours away from being declared the loser of the election. And unlike other one-term presidents, if Trump loses he’s going to end up in prison.
