“President” Donald Trump promised Senator Elizabeth Warren that if she could show that she had Native American blood, Trump would donate $1 million to a charity of Warren’s choice. Warren called Trump’s bluff and had her DNA tested. The results came back and showed “strong evidence” Warren has Native American blood in her family, perhaps dating back 6 to 10 generations.

Trump’s response was typical when faced with hard evidence, real facts and reality (see, e.g., Saudi Arabia and the “rogue killers” a la O.J. Simpson) – he tried to deny that his promise, recorded on camera, was made. He welched on his bet, in other words, just as he has stiffed so many in his various sordid dealings over the decades. Trump says he never made the offer, despite the evidence. Trump’s backers are now saying it is so far back and so diluted, it does not count. Again, the Trump M.O. – change the basis.

At the same time Warren proved her Native American lineage, reports are that House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s brother-in-law, William Wages, obtained $7.6 million in federal contracts for a company Wages owns, Vortex Construction, on Wages’ disputed claims of Native American identity. All of McCarthy’s in-laws appear to be part of the vortex of deceit, including his mother-in-law (co-owner), father-in-law and sister-in-law (both employed there). The Los Angeles Times asserts that his claims of Native American ancestry for the Wages family are dubious at best.

Like with much that happens these days from the GOP and its cult leader Donald Trump, we appear to have another case of projectionism, attacking Elizabeth Warren for what turns out to be legitimate claims of Native American ancestry while ignoring or hiding dubious facts on their end. We are witnessing perhaps the revelation of a fake Native American family, the Wages, who are of the line of GOP-Con-tis.
