More trouble for Pete Hegseth

Pete, Hegseth’s Ex sister in law submitted an affidavit on Tuesday to the senate. This affidavit pertains to Hegseth’s treatment of his second, now former wife. Apparently, according to the affidavit he was abusive to her to the point where she once had to hide in a closet just to get away from him.
Furthermore, the affidavit makes the shocking claim that she even had a Safe-Word to use to get away from him. If this is true, it shows clearly that if Pete’s confirmed it would be a travesty. The military would be led by a serial abuser and possible sociopath.
If you notice my friends, I do tend to use the word “sociopath” a lot as it pertains to the Republican party. Well, water seeks its own level I always did say! And right now, the water levels are dangerously high around Hegseth.
I donโt know what will happen with his confirmation. Judging by the cowardice that Republicans have shown since Trump came down that escalator so many years ago, I really have my doubts whether theyโll be able to stand up against Hegseth. . After all, most of these Republicans donโt give a damn about Women. Their leader is after all a sexual assaulter and a pervert.
But there is the possibility, my friends, Hegseth wonโt last long in this job, even if he does get confirmed. His erratic behavior, his alleged drinking and abuse all point to a personality type that is unstable unfit, and may not โ will probably not, be able to do the job that he is being asked to do.
Itโs up to you whether you choose to believe this affidavit, and I do unequivocally. Some people these days, including women seem far more comfortable tearing the accusers to shreds rather than believing the evidence right in front of them.
This, of course goes back to the dumbing down of America made possible at least in part by social media, which has turned people who know nothing, into Internet sleuths usually coming down on the side of the man.
Pete Hegseth is smug. When one looks at him, and his gently tousled hair, smirking smile, and arrogant person, one can see a man who does not seem to be able to learn lessons of the past just as Donald Trump canโt.
Of course were Hegseth a kindly and decent young buck,, Donald Trump would likely have never nominated him at all. This is because as I said, earlier in this essay, water always seeks its own level and usually when it finds that level, it feels no need to rise any higher.
