Donald Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo must have thought he was going to face no consequences for illegally firing the State Department Inspector General. But nearly a month later, the scandal just won’t go away – and it’s becoming more clear than ever that Pompeo will end up facing legal consequences if Trump loses the election.
