Michael Cohen is serving as an expert witness for the criminal case that the Manhattan District Attorney is building against Donald Trump, having met with the DA’s office on eight separate occasions and counting. The last person that Cohen would want anything to do with is Trump’s ally Matt Gaetz, who is currently under federal criminal investigation for alleged underage sex trafficking.
So when Matt Gaetz decided to try to fundraise off the allegations against him, sending that fundraising letter to Michael Cohen was probably a mistake:
You can’t make this up…Just received the following text message from @RepMattGaetz asking for money to fight back against the liberal lies…My reply: Only if I can Venmo it to you and put in the memo "for ambiguous services rendered". What a #PUTZ pic.twitter.com/397JyR5KF3

That’s right, Gaetz is now trying to make money from his alleged crimes – and he’s dumb enough to send his fundraising requests to someone like Michael Cohen, who is in the process of helping to put Trump world in prison. Gaetz is out of control, and it’s increasingly difficult to imagine this ending well for him.
