Matt Gaetz gets shellacked
The leak of the draft memo revealing that the Supreme Court soon intends to overturn Roe v. Wade has sent political shockwaves across the landscape. Protests have sprung up across the nation, and it’s suddenly become the issue for the midterms. It’s becoming a crucial inflection point in the nation’s history.
But as always, some two-bit clowns just can’t take anything seriously. Matt Gaetz posted this ludicrously offensive tweet, which we’re only quoting here to show just how inappropriate it is that he’s still in Congress: “How many of the women rallying against overturning Roe are over-educated, under-loved millennials who sadly return from protests to a lonely microwave dinner with their cats, and no bumble matches?”
Why is Matt Gaetz taunting women over Roe v. Wade? He’s about to be indicted, the three cooperating witnesses against him mean he’ll almost certainly be convicted, and he’ll never get out of prison. His life is over and he knows it, and taunting is all he has left.
But even taunting isn’t going particularly well for Gaetz. His asinine, cruel, sexist, idiotic tweet has already received tens of thousands of mostly negative replies. It couldn’t be more clear that this women’s rights travesty has galvanized mainstream Americans, and that a scumbag like Gaetz – who’s an alleged underage sex trafficker no less – is the last person anyone wants to hear from right now.
