You know the Democrats are winning the battle when the Republicans are accusing the Democrats of being overbearing with their tactics. Now that the January 6th Committee has gotten Steve Bannon arrested for contempt, has Mark Meadows on his way to being arrested, and is talking about a criminal referral against Donald Trump himself, the Republicans are particularly insistent at trying to play the victim right now.

Trouble is, many of these House Republicans have no idea how to fight back, or even what words mean. For instance, Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to accuse the Democrats of using the Capitol Police as the Gestapo Police – a reference to Hitler’s Nazi regime. Unfortunately for Greene, she referred to it as the Gazpacho Police” – a type of soup:

Yes, Marjorie Taylor Greene really is this much of an idiot. There are those who insist that she’s strategically faking her idiocy in order to play to her right wing idiot base. But if that were the case, her “idiotic” moments would be effective. As things stand, her attempted point always gets lost amid the discussion about how clueless, stupid, and incoherent she is.

Again, whenever the Republicans are resorting to accusing the Democrats of being overbearing, it means the Democrats are winning. In politics, if you’re whining it means you’re losing, because you’re merely telling voters in the middle that your side is too weak to stop the other side from doing what it wants to do. At this point Marjorie Taylor Green is unwittingly helping the Democrats.
