Lysol has had enough of Donald Trump’s crap
Yesterday Donald Trump stood in front of the television cameras and suggested ingesting or injecting disinfectant into people in order to treat coronavirus. This would of course be fatal. And while normal people are rolling their eyes at the idiot, there’s the very real fear that his supporters could actually follow this deadly advice.
To that end, Lysol manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser has issued this statement to NBC News: “As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route).”
This is beyond surreal. We’re now at the point where Lysol is having to warn people not to listen to the President of the United States. That’s right, Lysol is acting more presidential than Donald Trump.
