Have you ever felt the need to tell somebody off? I have – and sometimes the ramifications can be dire — but there are also those times when said person needs a reality check very much.

So, I want to tell you a story about a bit of a telling off that only just happened — and this was one that I feel NEEDED to happen. This story stars Meghan McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Many on our team do not like Meghan McCain. I understand the reasons for that, and she has said much I disagree with. But the fact remains her father was a war hero. John McCain also saved Obamacare. I like and respect John McCain and always will.

Assolini, however, does not. And he has made hateful statement after hateful statement against McCain. Which is why he was not invited to McCain’s funeral. However, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner DID show up.

This appears to still bother Meghan because she spoke of how neither Ivanka nor Jared had any right to be there during a recent interview. That SHOULD have been the end of it. But Lindsey Graham seemed to feel the need to weigh in.

Graham gave an interview to the Washington Post. And in said interview, he made a blunder. Graham says that Ivanka and Jared had been invited to attend the funeral: “She was upset they were there — I understand that, and she has hard feelings, but I know what happened, and nobody showed up uninvited.”

Uh-oh. Quicker than one could say, “Lindsey’s a fool,” McCain struck back: “Lindsey Graham may consider himself a member of my family, but he is not and hasn’t been for a very long time.” “He certainly doesn’t speak for me or my life experience.”

Wow. You tell him, girl. I support Meghan on this 100 percent. I am amazed by Graham’s continued loyalty to a family who could not care less about him when he HAD a family — the McCains — who loved him and seemed to accept him, foibles and all.
