Kevin McCarthy just can’t help finding new ways to blow it

Welcome to the world of Kevin McCarthy — where screwing over the American people reigns supreme. Our Kevin has come up with an idea that he seems positive will enable Republicans to keep the house in 2024!

This idea? Cutting millions off of food assistance! Way to go, Kevin. Just when we think you’ve gone as stupid as you can go, you prove there is always room for even more stupid.

McCarthy has been excitedly pitching this idea to fellow Republicans. He wants to up the age for those who qualify (not happening), close what he deems “loopholes,” and cut spending on federal food assistance programs. (not happening.)

I doubt Mr. McCarthy has ever been hungry. I doubt he’s ever lived in poverty. I doubt he’s ever wept bitter tears as he fell asleep hungry from yet another missed meal. And I doubt he’s ever seen a foodbank in his life.

But Kevin is getting pushback from this idea — and not just from democrats – from his own party. None of the things Kevin wants will happen. Indeed, most Republicans are saying as much. “Worst speaker of the house ever” is how social media describes him. I am going to surprise people in my analysis, but I deem Kevin McCarthy as bad a human as Donald Trump.

Evil can come in many forms. One doesn’t have to steal government documents and commit blatant crimes to be evil. Kevin is evil. He is immune to human suffering. He apparently cannot or will not allow himself to feel the pain of even one of his constituents.

He has no regard for humanity. And so yes, I believe that Kevin McCarthy is as low a person as Donald Trump. Kevin has shit on the needs of millions, from the Capitol Police to his own constituents who need help desperately to the hungry, the scared, and the alone.

America, in fact, is supposed to be about these very people — the hungry, the scared, and the alone. America is supposed to be a place where we take care of our own, nurture them, protect them, and do our best to stem the flow of pain that trickles from them.

Not McCarthy though. He’s on the wrong side of all this. He’s on the side of those that rebel against the good in favor of the corrupt. That is why McCarthy is looked on with such contempt.
