Karoline Leavett, monster

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was a peaceful apprentice sheet metal worker living in Maryland. He was married with two children. He fled El Salvador and came to the United States seeking asylum in 2019. He fled for his life to escape brutal gangs who threatened his life and the lives of his mother and father.
Abrego Garcia was under a 2019 court order not to be sent back to El Salvador due to fear of reprisals from a violent gang. Nevertheless, he was deported to a notorious prison in that country by the Trump “administration.” His current status is unknown. The best that we can hope for with the limited information we have is that he is still alive.
The Trump lawyers have until 11:59 PM tonight (as I write this, the morning of April 7) to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States or face contempt charges. Judge Paula Xinis rejected a request from the Trump “administration” asking her to lift her order demanding the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. “The risk of harm shocks the conscience. Defendants have forcibly put him in a facility that intentionally mixes rival gang members without any regard for protecting the detainees from ‘harm at the hands of the gangs,'” Xinix wrote in the Sunday ruling.
Karoline Leavett forgot to wear her cross a few days ago when she addressed the press in the White House briefing room. I wonder if that’s a coincidence. Whatever the case, she said, “This individual [Abrego Garcia, whom she refuses to address by name] who was deported to El Salvador and will not be returning to our country was a member of the brutal and vicious MS-13 gang. That is fact number one. Fact number two is we also have credible evidence that this individual was involved in human trafficking.” Leavett adds, “every person in this room should be grateful” he was deported.
One reporter pointed out that “the vice president said he was a convicted member of MS-13. What evidence is there to back that up?” Leavett replied, “There’s a lot of evidence. The Department of Homeland Security and ICE have that evidence and I saw it this morning.”
Let’s be clear on some things here. Abrego Garcia is not a member of MS-13. He was not and never has been involved in human trafficking. He was living in the United States legally. He was under court order NOT to be deported to El Salvador. He was kidnapped and sent to El Salvador anyway because he was from there, and the immigration goons who sent him there didn’t bother to check.
There is no “evidence” that “proves” Abrego Garcia was a convicted member of MS-13. JD Vance lied when he said that. Which means Karoline Leavett lied when she said she had seen that evidence that morning. Which means the “Christian” Karoline Leavett just broke the 9th of the Ten Commandments, which says in Exodus 20:16, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
When asked what court Abrego Garcia was convicted in, Leavett dodged the question by embarking on a filibuster on how bad MS-13 is, that they are terrorists and kidnappers and murderers and rapists. She padded the filibuster with unnecessarily long phrases, like “the United States of America” and “the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi,” instead of just saying “America” or “Pam Bondi.” Anyone who has spent any time on the internet knows this is a common trick of bullshitters.
Leavett never did answer the original question because she doesn’t know what court Abrego Garcia was convicted in, because he wasn’t convicted in any court. Not content to leave an innocent man alone, a man terrified for his life every waking minute, wondering if he will ever see his wife and kids again, innocent of any wrongdoing, Leavett had to pour salt in his wounds.
Karoline Leavett is a monster. She has just guaranteed that if Abrego Garcia ever does get back alive he will be pursued and persecuted by MAGA lunatics who think he’s a rapist and trafficker in human slaves. She bore false witness.
The Ninth Commandment is one of the few of the original ten I wholeheartedly agree with. It’s often misquoted as “thou shalt not lie.” But bearing false witness against another is far worse. Anyone who has ever been falsely accused of anything knows exactly what I mean. It cuts you to the bone. It’s injustice on steroids.
The Ten Commandments do not include the words “Thou shalt not hate.” Lucky me. Because it would otherwise be a commandment I would break every day when it comes to monsters like Karoline Leavett and her ilk.
