As the election season heats up, we’re seeing more and more of Vice President Harris’ electoral strategy play out – underlining what the GOP and mainstream media narrative have tried to make her “weaknesses” and flipping the script to make them her strengths.

Namely, the GOP has tried to make border security a Harris scandal, by repeatedly lying about her record and claiming she’s advocated for open borders. This fell apart when illegal border crossings dropped to their lowest level in four years and the campaign focused on the bipartisan border deal between the Biden administration and Senate Republicans that Donald Trump killed. Now, polls even show that Kamala Harris is trusted more on border security than the former guy.

Another Republican favorite of the last few years has been to blame President Biden for inflation, even though everything he’s done as president has lowered it at record pace – shrinking it by seven points since 2022. They’ve never actually offered any sort of plan that would lower inflation themselves – and a lot of bluster that would actually make it even worse than it was four years ago. Now, a new Harris ad speaks directly to voters about her plans to crack down on price gouging – a move that has already gotten major corporations like Walmart to start lowering their prices.

She also talks about a middle class tax cut and making housing more affordable, making a contrast between herself and Donald Trump whose only real reason for running is to give his donor friends yet another tax cut that we’ll pay for. It’s yet another reason why this guy and his ideas belong in the past. We’re not going back – let’s make Vice President Harris into Madam President-elect on Nov 5 and give her a Democratic trifecta to govern.
