Joe Biden just crossed 270 votes in electoral college voting. Joe Biden is now officially President-elect of the United States. Kamala Harris is now officially Vice President-elect of the United States. You can pop the champagne. Again.

Biden will address the nation tonight at 7:30pm eastern time, in his official capacity as President-elect. Donald Trump may try to counter program Biden’s speech by pulling some empty stunt, but at this point, who cares.

Trump and his allies in Congress cannot magically overturn the election on January 6th. We’ll hear a lot about this nonsense, but it’s a non-issue. Trump has lost. It’s over. Now we move forward with President Biden. The only thing Trump gets to decide is how he wants to go down.
