January 6th criminal, pardoned by Donald Trump, dies violently
When Donald Trump decided to pardon fifteen hundred criminals associated with the January 6th attack, we said it would backfire on him spectacularly. The move was immediately unpopular with most Americans, who thought they were getting cheaper groceries from Trump, not criminals being set free.
Now things have taken an even uglier turn. According to a local TV news affiliate in Indiana, one of the people Trump just pardoned is dead already. The police pulled him over, and the traffic stop went so poorly that the police ended up trying to arrest him. He allegedly fought back so violently, the police ended up shooting and killing him. That’s right, one of the January 6th criminals that Trump pardoned is dead already.
So this is all going about as poorly as expected. This comes after another January 6th criminal, pardoned by Trump, was rearrested last week. These midterm election TV ads are pretty much writing themselves.
