Jaime Harrison slams Lindsey Graham
Democratic candidate Jaime Harrison ran a spirited and inspiring campaign for Senate in 2020, but South Carolina simply turned out to be too red, and embattled Republican Lindsey Graham managed to get reelected instead. But now Harrison is the DNC Chair, and let’s just say that he’s not going soft on Graham.
Lindsey Graham traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border this week to try to spread as much disinformation and racist fear mongering as possible. While he was there, he said this: “Why are 18 senators here? Because it’s the biggest issue facing the country in many ways right now.”
That is, of course, a lie. These Republican Senators went to the border because their party is unpopular, President Joe Biden has a high approval rating, and they’re trying to dishonestly shake up the playing field.
Jaime Harrison was having none of it:
