Ivanka Trump angrily lashes out after New York expands criminal probe into Trump Organization
Earlier this evening the New York Times reported that New York State had expanded its civil and criminal probes into the Trump Organization to include massive consulting fees that were paid to Ivanka Trump and then allegedly illegally written off by the Trump Organization. Let’s just say that Ivanka Trump isn’t happy about it.
Ivanka tweeted the New York Times article in question, and added this: “This is harassment pure and simple. This ‘inquiry’ by NYC democrats is 100% motivated by politics, publicity and rage. They know very well that there’s nothing here and that there was no tax benefit whatsoever. These politicians are simply ruthless.”
Well okay then. Now that Donald Trump has lost the election and his presidency has a firm expiration date, his life is going to be all about trying to fend off prison and bankruptcy – and he can’t pardon himself on state charges. Donald Trump’s fate will ultimately be decided by judges and juries, not by what he or his family might angrily tweet about it.
