Donald Trump’s impeachment trial
Have you ever spent the morning cooking up something new, and then spent the afternoon taking out the trash? It’s not too difficult to accomplish multiple things in the same day. The Senate can easily advance President Biden’s agenda each morning and hold Trump’s impeachment trial each afternoon.
Of course none of this could happen if Mitch McConnell were still going to be in charge of the Senate. It’s the latest reminder that elections have consequences.
