Outside of a few idiots who don’t understand the destructive role that third-party independent candidates consistently play in presidential general elections, no one is impressed that former Starbucks CEO plans to enter the race as an independent. This seems to have caught Schultz off guard. That’s prompted him to begin touting the handful of people who are in favor of his candidacy, and that’s revealed something pretty awful about him.

Scuzzy lowlife Roger Simon wrote an article praising the Howard Schultz campaign, and even laughably asserting that Schultz could win. Schultz responded by posting a link to the article, adding “Thank you Roger Simon for a thoughtful analysis of what’s possible.” The trouble: this is one of the filthiest pieces of offensive trash ever written. It takes a sexist swipe at Kamala Harris for being “shrill.” It takes a racist swipe at Elizabeth Warren, referring to her as “Fauxcahontas.” Yet Schultz saw fit to post a link to this article and praise its author.

So now we’re starting to see the real Howard Schultz. Either he agrees with the disgusting and patently offensive attacks that this article makes on his presidential opponents, or he’s so desperate for praise he’s willing to overlook these hideous attacks, or he’s so careless and sloppy he posted a link to the article without reading it first. Whatever the reason he posted it, after about six hours of massive backlash in his replies, he deleted the tweet.

In any case, with one tweet, Howard Schultz just fully disqualified himself from the presidency. He’s either just as sexist and racist as Donald Trump, or he’s just as much of a narcissist as Donald Trump, or he’s just as illiterate as Donald Trump. Either way, Schultz is now rapidly destroying whatever legacy he had as a businessman and leader. He’s gone from being unwanted as a candidate, to being despised as a person.
