House Republican majority just shrunk again

Pandemonium has struck the House of representatives as the majority has shrunk even more. Republican Rep Michael Waltz has resigned to take a position in the Trump regime. He resigned on inauguration day, shrinking the house leadership leadership further. It is now 218 to 215.

I wonder. I wonder if the Democrats will take back the House before the end of the year. Everything that could go wrong for Mike Johnson has gone wrong.

As you know, control of the House was already hanging in the balance. But it shrinks a little bit each month. This is good news for us because to get anything past the Republicans will need the help of the Democrats, who will not give much attention to any absurd bills that fly into the ether, which rest assured they will because the Republicans are incompetent and do not know how to govern so you can expect a lot of trash in the dumpster truck. That is the Republican House caucus.

The Republican House Caucus is a tiny fish on a hook and the resistance comes in the form of the Democratic House Caucus, lead by Jeffries, a Caucus that is a tidal wave with sharp teeth that will not be afraid to bite the hand that tries to feed Donald Trump if they fall too far out of line.

The next few years will be hard. The good news is that the Republican House is rather powerless now as long as their house majority is this tenuous and tiny. They really canโ€™t seem to catch a break, can they?

Do not forget to add in the moderate House GOP members who will be up for reelection at some point and will not want to tinker too much with democracy, less their angry constituents decide to punish them at the ballot box.
