House and Senate Democrats come out swinging in aggressive fashion against Donald Trump’s insanity

If you’ve been wondering what the Democrats were planning to do in response to Donald Trump’s crime spree, you’re now getting your answer. The Democrats don’t have a majority in the House or Senate, so they can’t do anything on that front. But they are coming out swinging on every other front.
Multiple Democrats in Congress showed up at USAID today and attempted to enter the building, knowing the media would follow along. Congressman Jamie Raskin then gave a fiery speech, vowing to fight Trump’s every illegal move in court, and defiantly declaring that “we don’t have a fourth branch of government called Elon Musk.”
Democratic Senator Brian Schatz also announced that he’s putting a blanket hold on all of Donald Trump’s State Department nominees as long as USAID remains shuttered.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries also posted this detailed strategy for how the Democrats are fighting back, which is worth reading:

Remember, we’re all in this together โ and that includes the Democrats. The best thing we can do right now is fully support and amplify their efforts to stop Trump and Musk, while also continuing to use our own voices and protests in order to do our part. Now is not the time for squabbling. Now is the time to come together and fight.
