Here we go again
Donald Trump is the most brazenly corrupt career criminal in American history, and yet morons voted him back into power anyway. This has given Trump a clear green light to ramp up his corruption, and he of course has jumped at the opportunity. Trump isn’t just openly accepting foreign bribes such as his free airplane from Qatar. He’s also playing a different kind of corrupt game at the same time.
Last night Trump had a “crypto dinner” in Washington DC. When the media asked who was going to be attending the dinner, the Trump regime said that the list would be kept secret because Trump was attending the meeting “in his personal time.”
That’s right, Trump and his regime are trying to claim that a meeting he’s holding, with investors, behind closed doors, with a secret guest list, is a “personal” meeting that has nothing to do with the fact that he’s currently holding the office of President of the United States.
This is corrupt even for Trump. He’s obviously abusing the office of the presidency in order to gain financial favor from cryptocurrency investors. Like everything Trump has ever done in politics, this secret meeting is about Trump lining his pockets in criminal fashion. The media is (correctly) trying to make a scandal out of it, and the Trump regime is essentially daring them to try.
All we can hope for here is that Trump and his regime have become so astoundingly and brazenly corrupt that it might end up backfiring on him. The same working class dummies who voted for this guy in 2024 because they somehow thought he was going to make them wealthier, have now got to be looking at what’s playing out and scratching their heads about what they’ve gotten themselves into.
