Here comes the boom

Kamala Harris continues building her coalition. According to the Independent, she now has the support of baby boomers and the Silent Generation, leading Donald Trump 51 to 48%. Older voters have consistently backed the Republican party, but it appears that they are ready for a change. The executive director of Emerson College Polling said in a press release last week: “Likely voters under 30 have shifted toward Harris by nine points, 56% of whom supported Biden, 65% now support Harris. Voters over 70 also support Harris over Trump, 51 percent to 48 percent-last month they broke 50 to 48 percent for Trump.” In addition to those numbers, 91 percent of voters are “extremely motivated” to vote. Of course, these numbers have been swaying toward Harris since she became the presumptive nominee, but Donald Trump calls them “fake polls.” Funny, Farron (Cousins) Balanced reported on YouTube that, according to an anonymous source, Trump’s internal polling is just as bad if not worse.

What’s totally predictable, Business Insider wrote: “The Trump campaign celebrated the same polls when they showed it in the lead earlier this year. Former President Donald Trump boasted about his standing in the polls when they showed him leading President Joe Biden. Now, he’s calling those same polls ‘fake’.” Typical. JD Vance took this nonsense to Fox on Sunday, saying: “The media uses fake polls to drive down Republican turnout and to create dissention and conflict with Republican voters. I’m telling you, every single person who’s watching this, the Trump campaign is in a very, very good spot. We’re gonna win this race.” Keep thinking that. Better yet, keep saying it publicly so that your voters can assume you don’t need their votes to win. It is foolish to make such outlandish, erroneous statements. Indeed, Vance claimed that polls are “leveling off” for Kamala Harris. Keep hope alive, honey.

According to Raw Story, Trump is looking for someone to blame for his current situation. It’s called a mirror, Trump. That man is the one you need to blame. You give voters absolutely no reason to waste a vote on you. When asked specific questions about his policy, all he can say is that he’s “going to make America great again.” Harris, on the other hand, has been very specific about her policies and how she plans to make them work. Unlike Trump, Harris apparently doesn’t have a magic wand and will handle her policies by working. Raw Story also reported that even when Trump tried to make a real plan, it was scrapped in favor of insults. I hate to tell him, but those insults aren’t going to get him to the White House.

Kamala Harris could care less about Trump’s childish attacks. She very well knows who she is and how she plans to tackle the presidency. Let him keep playing around while she continues to soak up his former voters. While some may wonder whether Harris will get another “bounce” in the polls after the Convention, it’s irrelevant. She has been inspiring, thoughtful, and joyful. That is what will carry her to the White House.
